Software update for Android

With software updates, the developer of the software makes sure that your device continues to be fast, that your security is always up to date, and that small software errors are fixed. It is therefore always wise to install an available software update. To update the software on your Android phone or tablet, follow the steps below.

Perform a software update

1. Swipe the screen from bottom to top and tap "Settings".
2. Scroll down and tap "About the phone".
3. Tap "System updates".
4. Your phone will now check if an update is available.
5. To download the update, tap "Restart now to update".
6. Your phone will be up to date within minutes!
