The Moto G41 is a great work phone with excellent battery life, super fast 33W charging (comes with a charger in the box) and a beautiful OLED screen. The main camera on the back also has optical image stabilisation for smooth video recording which unfortunately only goes up to 1080p at 30fps. Battery life lasts about two days with moderate usage and one whole day with very heavy use (power saving mode helps as well). Charging takes about one to one and a half hours to go from empty to full. No complaints in that department. Also my G41 has 6GB of RAM which is phenomenal, it can easily hold around 10 apps at a time when multitasking. Unfortunately the software performance isn’t amazing. With general usage it’s fine but under heavier load, it starts to lag. Only light gaming is recommended (Temple Run, Subway Surfers, Fruit Ninja). Heavy games such as PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile and Genshin Impact will run poorly. The phone is still running Android 11 as of this review (16 October 2022) and it still has a security patch from August. This is unfortunate because its older sibling, the Moto G30 (G31 and 41 are identical in terms of processor) has received Android 12 a long time ago. The G32 & 42 already came with Android 12 from the factory. Meanwhile the Mediatek powered G31/41 siblings are treading along with outdated software. Some apps get buggy and messy meaning you will have to restart the phone for them to work properly again, or in some cases uninstalling and reinstalling them. This isn’t a dealbreaker as many other smartphones have these issues. But it’s something to keep in mind if you buy the phone for fast app switches and loading times. Overall this is a great budget smartphone with amazing battery life, fast charging, OIS and 6GB of RAM. However it cannot compete with anything higher-end thanks to its weak processor, poor video recording resolution, 60hz display and extremely slow Android updates.

De Motorola Moto G41 is aangeschaft via een belsimpel aktie. Een super deal!!! Met het in bedrijf nemen stond er Android 11 op het toestel en deze is door de updates ge-update naar Android 12. Mijn vrouw heeft sinds 3 jaar een Motorola Moto 8 power ... destijds ook via belsimpel aktie aangeschaft en zeer tevreden over het toestel. Mijn indruk is dat de Motorola Moto G41 een verder verbeterde versie hiervan is. Het toestel heb ik nu 3 weken in gebruik en alleen maar lof. Fantastisch 6,4 inch AMOLED scherm, ongelooflijke camera kwaliteit, intern geheugen 128Gb en tevens een extern SD kaart uitbreiding mogelijkheid (heb er al 128Gb erbij gestoken), RAM 6Gb en een grote accu van 5000mAh (die gaat 4 dagen mee)... ik zou geen ander toestel gewenst hebben... TOP!!!

Als je van fotograferen houdt, zoals ik, valt de kwaliteit van de foto's tegen. Standaard zijn de foto's te donker. Dat wist ik al bij het kopen, maar valt toch tegen. Ik zou willen dat er voor deze prijs dit toestel met betere foto's zou bestaan. Ik zoek er altijd naar, maar nog nooit gevonden. Al maakte mijn vorige telefoon de motorola g6 plus betere foto's!

frustratie

Elke dag moet je de telefoon opnieuw opstarten. Loopt elke dag wel een keer vast. Heel frustrerend wanneer je bv. net in een winkel bent en wilt betalen of een pas wilt scannen :(

Het is een mooi toestel en ondanks dat de interface voor mij nog even wennen is (ik had hier voor een Huawei) Kan de Smartphone alles wat ik verwacht van een Smartphone.

Ik heb dit toestel gekozen omdat mijn oude Motorola G5 van 8 jaar oud nog prima werkte. Omdat het geheugen te klein is voor deze tijd heb ik voor een nieuwe Motorola gekozen met een groter geheugen. Ik kon geen apps meer op de oude bijplaatsen. Ik hoopte dan ook dat deze hetzelfde zou werken. Het toestel heb ik dan in de winkel van Belsimpel overlaten zetten maar de huwei-gezondheidsapp nam hij niet mee en daar heb ik nog veel problemen mee die Honor (van mijn activitiyband )op te lossen wat nog steeds niet gelukt is. Ik had liever de sensor voor aan en uit zetten onderaan het scherm gehad zoals bij de Motorola G5.
