The phone delivers a good experience if you have simple needs, like using one profile and don't like to customise you environment too much. The large screen is very convenient for productivity and the camera gives good results. Fast charging at 67W is really great. The external screen is a dust magnet for some reason and is still a bit narrow, but perfectly usable. I also miss having the fingerprint scanner in the screen. As soon as you want to configure the device to your liking, you'll run into some issues. Things available elsewhere are not possible or hidden in many different menus per example. The launcher is pretty basic. There are also some really strange bugs in OxygenOS 13 which should not have passed QA, like crashes in the system menu or fingerprint unlocking for apps which suddenly stops working. Stuttering when scrolling happens quite often, which is odd in 2024 The OS is definitely behind what Samsung offers with OneUI 6 (13). I also have problems with the way security is handled, compared to a S24 Ultra: - Patches delivered every 2 months vs every month on Samsung - Personal profile is handled via a system clone feature, which is not as integrated as the Knox feature on Samsung, you need to log in into a separate environment and it comes with more limitations - You can only have 2 profiles running at the same time. That means that if you have a main and a personal profile on the device, as soon as you add a work profile, then your personal profile is put to sleep, which makes it pretty useless if it contains apps like messaging. Support vie email from OnePlus seems to be a black hole.

Toestel doet wat je mag verwachten van een fold telefoon. En de OnePlus OS maakt gebruik van handige functies zodat multitasken met meerdere app gemakkelijk en duidelijk is. Alertslider is echt handig. Camera is wel aan de grote en zware kant maar zorgt voor mooie fotos en filmpjes. Voor de fans van draadloos laden is dit helaas niet mogelijk maar met de fast charge (0 naar 100% in 40 min) mis ik dit totaal niet. Toestel heeft alle voordelen van high end phone alleen kun je scherm openklappen voor nog meer voordelen en functies. Zeker aanrader voor mensen die zakelijke veel moeten mailen.

Gekozen vanwege de specificaties, android update support (5 jaar) en natuurlijk het gigantische scherm! De camera maakt ook erg mooie foto. Ik was bang dat de camera vanwege de uitstulping zou irriteren, maar het is een handig randje om de telefoon vast te kunnen houden. Het toestel voelt erg stevig aan

Telefoon inmiddels een aantal weken in gebruik. Dichtgeklapt heb je een telefoon met normale beeldverhouding wat ik persoonlijk erg miste aan de Samsung, opengeklapt heb je een prachtige tablet. De vouw is amper te zien en te voelen, vooral met apps open. Beeldverhouding opengeklapt is super fijn voor productiefiteit, alleen met videos op onder anderen YouTube die steeds meer gemaakt worden voor telefoons die steeds langer worden zul je vaak (grote) zwarte balken hebben waarna de video op een groot tablet scherm in werkelijkheid net zo groot te zien is als op een iPhone. Dit is niet iets waar ik zelf last van heb maar wel iets om rekening mee te houden.
